I am 50 years old and have a lot of hand pain that often feels hot. My fingers don’t work as well as they used to and some of them are bending in a funny way. Is there anything that can be done for this?

It sounds like you are having some inflammatory joint pain with some finger deformation. It is important that you go to your doctor and have someone look at you. If there is suspicion of an autoimmune form of arthritis that is causing your pain and joint deformity, you will be referred to a rheumatologist.
