If you have pain in your knee while exercising or running, is it best to walk it out until it doesn't hurt or stop altogether?

This question is impossible to answer without knowing what type of problem you may be having with your knee, what type of pain you are experiencing, and what brings on the pain. In general, however, the rule of thumb is "if it hurts, stop." Continuing your activity and ignoring the pain may make things worse and more difficult to treat.
