painful pop in shoulder

I was a competitive swimmer in high school and now swim recreationally and while working as a lifeguard. A few months ago I felt a painful pop in my shoulder while lifting a boat and I was diagnosed with impingement and instability. I did 8 weeks of PT and all was well. Recently I got back in the pool, to begin light workouts for lifeguarding I am now experiencing a painful pop during the pull of my stroke...this also seems to occur randomly when reaching for things. Any ideas as to what this may be?

MRI reveals tendinopathy, mild degenerative arthrosis, and small amount of fluid in bursae

My recent MRI reveals tendinopathy, mild degenerative arthrosis, and a small amount of fluid in bursae. This was a relief since my symptoms of pain up to level 7 in the shoulder have gone on for 12 weeks in spite of twice-weekly physical therapy and the performance of my exercises. Fortunately, the pain (on tucking in my shirt or putting on a shirt, washing my hair, etc.) would go away within 2 minutes.

fractured humerous severe intermittent nerve pain

i was injured skiing, hiy from behind. landed on shoulder just about a month ago. os sent me home to heal for a month, then we will assess soft tissue damage. meantine, some days my thumb/hand hurts like the dickens, others i get shooting pain frm my elbow dowqn. pain meds don't seem to help. any thoughts out there?

what is the best exercise for shoulder

do you know what kind of exercises can we do for shoulder problems? should we follow the same kind of exercises for torn rotator cuff, for frozen shoulder or bursitis problems. I am asking this because there seems no problem in my MRI but i really have problems with my shoulder in my daily life. So if i follow a kind of exercise for example for torn rotator cuff would it be harmful for, say it, bursitis problem?

Calcific tendonitis

Calcific Tendonitis
On January 7th, 2008 Geoff says:

Tore Subscapularis tendon while surfing..Surgeon wants to reattach my bicep and lower it a bit!

A few weeks ago I tore my subscapularis tendon while surfing in La Jolla, San Diego. The wave crashed down on me and sent me diving forward. This is when the entire weight of the wave crashed down on my shoulder. As I penetrated underwater, I was in intense pain.
Today the Doc told me that he might have to cut my bicep and reattach it lower, so it is not in the way of the subscapularis tendon. He says that this will prevent the bicep from destroying the new tendon repair!

Is this a common procedure?
What's your advice to be 100% again?

fractured humerus, post surgery plated

have fractured humerus with radial palsy, has anyone experience in the healing time

rotator cuff repair

I had a repair of a full thickness rotator cuff in may 2007. When I use my arm too much I get the same type of pain before the surgery. It never seems to go away. I also have pain now in the unaffected arm, which the surgeon has told me is from overusing that arm. He also said I have impingement syndrome in the unaffected arm. I am a registered nurse and have to do a lot of pulling, etc., I am still out of work, and don't feel at this point I will ever be able to perform these duties again. Should my surgical arm be better by now?

Help MRI shows nothing

Hello and thanks in advance.

About six years ago I injured my shoulder, I was running and pushed on a door I thought was unlocked but was not.
