Peroneal tendon surgery pain

I just had surgery on my peroneal tendon on the 17th of December. It has only been a few days, however I am in EXCRUCIATING pain. It is not even tolerable. Medication does not seem to help, neither does icing. After a nasty episode of pain last night my mom called the doctor. Turns out the nurse at the OR put the ace wrap on too tight to not allow space for swelling. Now, after loosening it, I am still in horrible pain. I shake a lot, am constantly moaning, barely sleeping, and cannot eat. I was on vicodin, but now I am on percoset (sp?)

Pain meds

I am taking oxycodone for pain after surgery for my neck. I took lortab every day before surgery for about a year. My doctor is getting worried that I am getting addicted to the pain meds and he doesn't want me taking them any longer. I am afraid to go off the meds because I'm afraid the pain will come back worse. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do?
