Elbow

ulnar nerve problem

in

last year i was playing baseball alot and i developed a problem with my ulnar nerve and bicep tendon..right now whenever i go to throw i get a jolt down the side of my right palm...i took alot of time off without doing any exercises for my back, shoulder and elbow...is it possible that my tricep nerve is small and the nerve is moving around and pushed on by the small tricep when throwing? any help would be great

Blunt force trauma, was healing

Two weeks ago I performed a foolish ladder stunt and fell from a second story onto the metal ladder that was flat on the ground. The back of my bicep hit the ladder near the elbow. The emergency room (what a healthcare disaster those are) stiched up the split skin on the point of the elbow and sent me home. My pain level was not severe so they skipped the photo shoot. I did the ice and advil routine and watched the arm turn different colors along with a fluid build-up that moved into the forearm. Apparently a lot of internal contusion around the ulnar nerve.

Pain after throwing

I have been experiencing pain after throwing sometimes accompanied by tingling in my fingers. I hadn't been throwing regularly over the last few years but I've always had a strong arm. Sometimes the pain goes away after about an hour and usually the next day I am fine. It only happens when I throw close to 100% effort. When I am just casually playing catch I have no pain at all. Is it something to worry about? Or could my arm just not be strong enough to stop the arm speed I can generate?

Ulnar Nerve Instability

Hi, I am having no luck finding information about the injury for my elbow. I don't know if it is common or not; I can't find the right words in searching for it. It keeps coming back with info on entrapment; and that isn't my problem. So far, I have found no name for it.

Surgery for Snapping triceps syndrome!!

I am 18 years old, 6 foot 3, 195lbs. I have been weight lifting for about 2 years now. About six months ago i noticed a decent amount snapping when I (did the opposite of extend) my elbow. This snapping strangely occured while i was taking a few week break from lifting. The snapping persisted, so i saw an ortho doctor. I then had an MRI which showed my ulnar nerve and part of my tricep where dislocating over my medial epocondyle, which she told me was not normal.

Totally messed up!

Hi I am really curious about something that happened almost 5 years ago. My little brother kicked me off the back of a couch and i landed all my weight on my elbow I had it bent upwards when i hit the ground it completely straighten and swelled up. I have had xrays, MRI scans and no ones been able to tell me why my arm will not straighten out. If i move it the wrong way it locks straight and after about 20 minutes of horrific pain it unlocks and then my arm is swollen for about 3 days after.

Girlfriend's elbow doesn't go straight

Hello, one thing that i have been curious lately is why my girlfriend's elbow won't go straight. It just doesn't go straight, almost anything after a 90 degree angle it is stretching her arm and begins to hurt if it stretches too hard. Her friends think its funny but accept her for it. She could have possibly broken it as a child and it didn't heal right, she said it didn't break it just sort of happened gradually. She used to receive therapy, where the therapist would just stretch on her arm and she hated it, she considered surgery but hadn't done it.

Ruptured biceps tendon

I ruptured my distal bicep tendon on July 29th. I waited till Sept. 4th to see doctor and I am so pissed at myself for waiting. Anyway, I had a bump from scar tissue and the doctor said he may be able to do the repair properly and remove the bump, so I had the surgery Thursday. I went back today for follow up and he said he couldn’t stretch the tendon to bone and attached it to lower muscle . I was very disappointed. He told me not to worry; that I would only loose about 7 or 8 % of my strength and never notice once I am all healed up.

Any info would be great.
