10 Year Anniversary

I never imangined making it this far. When I was 18 and in a lot of pain and just praying for a miracle, I really never thought 10 years down the road. Well, here I am. My hip fusion was a total sucess ( which is what my mom believes is our miracle). I have very little to no pain in my right hip but I am so frustrated with the constrictions of one hip joint.

As I have stated, I will be seeing a specialist in October and I have already seen a Doc from this area and tried out some physical therapy. I truely enjoyed the physical therapy. It was more about me getting some alone time from the girls and just focussing on getting better. I soon learned that being a mom has nothing to do with focussing on one's self, so I had to stop physical therapy until my husband was able to take a day off......... did I mention my husband works A LOT; 8:30am to 8:00 pm? Makes for longs days and sometimes really stressful nights. The girls miss daddy and attack him when he gets home. Have I trailed off the topic a bit? :)

To celebrate my 10 years with no right hip motion my husband made homemade chicken noodle soup and we had his parents over for dinner. It was wonderful :)

I cannot say "Here's to 10 more years of a fused hip", because I would like a THR, but I would like 10 more years as good as these 10. I love you Daryl, Emma, and Ava :)
