Okay, I have been complaining A LOT lately about my hip and have been getting extremely frustrated with myself. Well something happened and I believe it was God telling me to get over myself :)

It was something little but meant a great deal.

I was talking to my husband on the phone when my daughter Ava dropped her baby doll on my foot. This was no ordinary baby doll, it was heavy and clunky with a huge head. So the baby doll's head landed right on my big toe. It hurt and I said to Daryl, "Ava just dropped a huge baby doll on me" (The doll has since been tossed out)

Anyway, that night my toe really started to hurt and I actually had forgotten what had hurt it. The next day I couldn't even bend my toe and the pain was awful.

It took about 4 days for my toe to bend and by the 4th day you could see this yellow and purple bruise.

I was so grateful that my foot/toe no longer hurt and that I could walk pain free again.... that's when it hit me, Thank God I am pain free. I may have a fused hip but I can still run, jump, walk, and play with my kids.

Thank You God for the eye opener.

p.s. Ava has a new, smaller baby doll.
