I am 26 and have been diagnosed with avascular necrosis of both hips. ive read that alcohol consumption can cause this condition and im worried i may have done this to myself. I drank rather heavily for about 4 years from the time i was about 21-24 or 25--could this be long enough to cause a condition like this so early in my life?
