Ligament Reconstruction Surgery with a wrist fushion
Posted April 5th, 2008 by joanne
I have a fushion of the left wrist and the only joint that is mobile is the cmc joint. I have severe pain in that joint and my doctor has suggested a ligament reconstruction with tendon interpostion of the 1st cmc joint surgery. I do have arthrisit in that area as well. I am left handed which also causes problems.
I am wondering if this may harm me more, or if this will limit my range of motion. I need to know what the recovery period my be. I truely just want the pain to "go away."
