My mother in law fell and broke her ankle in three places. All breaks are compound fractures, but they did not break the skin. Due to heart issues, the doctors will not clear her for surgery. We are being told she is able to go for 7 days without surgery. The question which no one can answer for us is what happens if her heart is not able to take the surgery?
Has anyone experience this issue?
