I recently fractured the distal part of my fibula. Is it normal to have increased pain at night? It seems to have a pulling feeling and severe aching that tends to increase at night. I have tried ice, Ibprofen, and Vicodin and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, the pain is still there. It really bothered me about a week and half ago for about 4 days and went away, and it came back about 2 days ago. Just wondering if there are any other suggestions or ideas to try. I fractured it approx 3 weeks ago, and have been non-weight bearing since. It has been quite swollen- however the swelling is going down and the fracture only came up on the MRI- regular X-rays were not showing the break.
