Infuse Bone Graft
Had posterolateral intertransverse spinal fusion L5s1--bmp2 placed on sponges and inserted into the bone, without cages. Shortly after started having joint pain, in all my joints. All tests come back neg. RA, Lupus etc. I believe it is a reaction to the bmp2, bovine. Anyone else having this problem!

BMP2/Bovine Collage
I have been reading about Bovine Collagen, it seems it is used a lot in cosmetic procedures. Prior to use in these type of procedures it is recommended that an allergy test be done. I would like to know if any knows why an allergy test is not recommended before using it in a spinal fusion?
