2 Weeks Post surgery for Disectomy for L2/L3 and Laminectomy for L3/L4 Having issues Any help ADvice
OK Here is the deal, Had bad left leg and some right leg pain pre-surgery. Had the surgery on 11-26 and the neuro-surgeon did a L2/L3 Discectomy and L3/L4 Laminectomy. I had no pain day of and mornig after surgery but when I got home from hospital the pain in my right hip joint and front of right leg was so bad could hardly walk. Now 2 weeks post surgery, I am trying to walk 30 min a day and be some active not lifting but shopping etc... When I get home and lie down I get these bad paind in my hip and front of thigh. Heat seems to help and once I rest usually can get up and walk some. Doc says that it is muscle pain but I am concerend any advice??? I got off the Vicodin and am taking 800mg of Motrin 3 times a day and muscle relaxers.
