rotator cuff repair
I had a repair of a full thickness rotator cuff in may 2007. When I use my arm too much I get the same type of pain before the surgery. It never seems to go away. I also have pain now in the unaffected arm, which the surgeon has told me is from overusing that arm. He also said I have impingement syndrome in the unaffected arm. I am a registered nurse and have to do a lot of pulling, etc., I am still out of work, and don't feel at this point I will ever be able to perform these duties again. Should my surgical arm be better by now? I see my surgeon in 10 days, and he said he will probably give me a cortisone injection. Do I just have lousy tendons or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

While playing softball, I think I tried to throw the ball too hard without warming up. I made a throw with a lot of mustard on it and I felt a pop just below my should joint (around my biceps) and some pain afterwords. Now, every time I make a hard throw (in a softball game or just throwing a mini nerf football), I feel that same pop and small amount of pain. I should be clear that I feel nothing out of the ordinary on soft or moderate tosses.
Any idea what it is? Whatever it is, a week and a half rest did not cure it.
Thanks!
