recurring AVN

I had been diagnosed with AVN in for ay ear and had a surgery of decompression of the femoral head and walked for 6 months with crutches. Since the surgery my hip's been improving, but few days ago I started to have pain in the same area. Is it possible that same problem occurred again and what could be the treatment?
