knock knees/genu valgum

hi i am 22 years old and i have knock knees..i am going for surgery in october and i would like to know the outcome..i know i wont be able to run and stuffs but will i have trouble walking..itting down..kneeling or squatting? my surgeon told me that hes going to change the shape of my legs by dividing and realigning the lower thigh bone. it would be great if i can get more information about my surgery outcome..
