artificial finger tip?

Hi.Is there some kind of surgery that can be done to attach an artificial finger tip to make my finger look normal? My ring finger on my left hand was cut off from the distal IP joint to the tip when i was a baby for "traditional purposes." I would like to know if there would be some kind of surgery that can be done to insert an artificial finger tip to make my finger look normal. Please advise.
