The MCDONOUGH ORTHOPAEDIC AND SPORTS MEDICINE CENTER S.C., (MOSMC) was founded by John McDonough D.O., in 1983 to provide state of the art orthopaedic, physical therapy, athletic training, and strength and conditioning services to area high school and recreational athletes. Wayne Christie M.D., joined the MOSMC staff as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in June 1995. Amy Jaeger M.H.A., D.P.M., who is specialty trained in foot and ankle surgery joined the practice in July 2005.
The MOSMC currently has sixteen full-time and five part-time employees. It was the first Sports Medicine Center in Central Wisconsin and it currently provides athletic training services to several local high schools, and Mid-State Technical College.
