I am a college student having knee surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Will I have to quit school during the recovery time?
Most people are physically active at work and school after this surgery. There is usually a short period of one to two weeks after the surgery when normal activities are difficult. Check with your doctor about how much you'll be able to do and how soon after surgery. Sometimes variations in surgical methods make a difference.
