My grandson has a disease called osteochondritis dissecans in his knee. The doctor wants to keep him from playing sports and other physical activities to see if it will heal on its own. But I've read that this can take months, even a year, and that surgery is possible. Why keep my grandson from being active if surgery is an option? 5 days 4 hours ago 3
My son was diagnosed with a condition called osteochondritis dissecans of the knee a little over a year ago. The doctor told us to wait and see if it got worse. In the meantime, my son wasn't able to play soccer for many months. Finally, after about 10 months, the doctor decided to operate and after recuperation, my son was fine. But he lost all that activity time, which is a big part of his social life. Shouldn't the doctor have operated sooner if he was going to anyway? 5 days 4 hours ago 3

We're trying to be supportive to the family, but we think they should sue. 3 weeks 2 hours ago 61
