What can you tell us about a skin condition called necrotizing fasciitis? We understand it is fairly rare (our elderly father is in the hospital with this) and can be deadly. 2 years 6 weeks ago 238
I know I'm not crazy and I know I'm not making this up. I have constant pain in parts of my body that have no signs of injury, damage, or inflammation. I did have a car accident several years ago that started all this. Does anyone know how to turn off the system without drugs or surgery? That's what I'm after. 2 years 7 weeks ago 180
I am new to the diagnosis of fibromyalgia but I'm convinced my doctor is right and that's what I have. She tells me it's not just in my head -- it's in my entire nervous system. Could you help me understand this a little more? Why is my nervous system acting this way? 2 years 7 weeks ago 134
I lived in New York City until six months ago. Now I'm in the west with my daughter and son-in-law. I'm concerned because I saw a report that older folks like me (I'm 77-years-old) aren't always treated the same if living on the east coast compared to being out west. I'm in good health but would like to stay that way should anything happen to me. What do you know about this? 2 years 10 weeks ago 146
I'm having a hard time seeing how my husband is going to recover from a wound he received in Iraq. Half of the lower leg is simply missing. I can't say this to him but given the number of surgeries they are saying it will take to reconstruct the leg, I can't help but wonder if it will be worth all the time, energy, effort, and pain. 2 years 10 weeks ago 193
